YOUR EQUITY. A THOUGHTFUL PLAN.

Flexibility starts
with understanding.

A home equity line of credit lets eligible homeowners borrow against available equity, up to an approved limit. During the draw period, you may access funds as needed under the agreement. When the repayment period begins, new draws generally end and the balance must be repaid.

For the plans that matter to you

  • Homeowners planning renovations. Discuss a credit line for improvements that happen in stages.
  • Households preparing for major expenses. Explore whether borrowing against equity fits your budget and repayment plan.
  • People who value flexibility. Understand how draws, minimum payments and future payment changes work before choosing a line.
Your home is the collateral.

If you cannot repay, you could lose your home. Rates may be variable and payments can increase. Review the APR, fees, draw restrictions, repayment schedule and any balloon payment before signing. Using home equity to pay other debts changes the risk because those obligations become secured by your home.

A person to guide you.
A process you can follow.

We help organize the conversation. The lender determines eligibility, available terms and approval.

01

Start with your goal.

Share what you want to accomplish and ask about availability in your state. The initial inquiry below does not request a credit report.

02

Review your property and options.

Your advisor explains the lender’s application, required authorizations, equity review, income documentation, costs and payment structure.

03

Understand before you close.

Review your final disclosures, draw period, repayment obligations and any applicable cancellation or waiting period. Eligible, complete files may close in 7–10 business days; timing varies.

GOOD QUESTIONS. CLEAR ANSWERS.

Know what
you’re choosing.

Does “up to 30 years” mean I can draw for 30 years?+

No. The total term may include a shorter draw period followed by a repayment period. Your lender’s agreement defines each period, whether additional draws are allowed, and how your payments change.

Is closing in 7–10 business days guaranteed?+

No. This is a potential timeline for eligible, complete files. Underwriting, valuation, title review, required disclosures, applicable waiting periods and other requirements can extend it.

Will my rate or payment change?+

Many HELOCs have variable rates. Rate adjustments and the transition from draw to repayment can change your payments. Ask about the index, margin, rate caps, any fixed-rate options and the full payment schedule.

Do I need a business to inquire?+

No. A HELOC is secured by a home. You can use the homeowner inquiry below without entering a company name. Eligibility and permitted uses depend on the lender.

Will this first inquiry affect my credit?+

The short inquiry below does not request a credit report. A lender’s full application may involve a credit inquiry under separate authorization. Ask your advisor before proceeding.
